Fiat Professional is the Official Sponsor of the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship once again

The FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship is starting off again and for the second year running the FCA Group brand dedicated to commercial vehicles will be Official Sponsor. The partnership is based on shared values, such as enthusiasm, determination and selflessness: for this reason Tony Cairoli was chosen as brand ambassador.

For Fiat Professional 2017 is kicking off with the renewal of the partnership which will see the brand featuring at the MXGP Motocross World Championship that will be starting on February 25 on the Losail Circuit in Qatar. The championship will be taking place from February to October 1 on 20 circuits in Europe, the United States, Qatar, Thailand, Argentina and Mexico. Every race draws tens of millions of spectators worldwide who watch the coverage on major media outlets.

As a result of the partnership, the public will see a vehicle picked from the Fiat Professional full liner range and equipped to take on the challenges of an increasingly more competitive market in the starting area and elsewhere. Ambassador of excellence of this winning union between the worlds of two and four wheels will be Tony Cairoli, Italian racing icon, eight time World Champion of the speciality and last season’s runner-up. The partnership between Fiat Professional and the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship is based on authentic, common values, such as enthusiasm, determination and selflessness. The same ideals are shared by Tony Cairoli, who is preparing to take on the motocross championship season with his legendary tenacity and spunk, and reflect the challenge attitude of Fiat Professional. In the wave of the successes obtained in 2016, Fiat Professional is preparing to live 2017 to the fullest and will be ready to take on any challenges that the market may throw.

Fullback will be the product hero of the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship official fleet and will have many chances to show off all its qualities in terms of configurations, dimensions and engines. Fullback was created to meet the real needs of professional customers, but it also displays outstanding flexibility once work is done, making it perfect for all kinds of uses, in line with the philosophy of the brand.

It will be joined by the genuine trendsetter Fiat Ducato, which will be perfectly at home at a global event like the FIM Motocross World Championship. The Fiat Professional best-seller will be showcasing all its versatility, as people-carrier, for transporting cargo and as a mobile workshop at the service of riders and everyone at the circuits.

Motorhomes, which are another strength of the brand, will also be showcased during the events: interestingly, over the past two years, over three out of four camper vans sold in Europe are Ducato-based. Furthermore, the readers of the specialised German magazine Promobil named Ducato “Best Motorhome Base Vehicle 2017”, confirming the leadership of the model in this important sector.
